“How do you teach homosexuality? Is it like French? I was born of heterosexual parents, taught by heterosexual teachers, in a fiercely heterosexual society. So why then am I homosexual? And, no offense meant, if it were true that children mimic their teachers, we’d have a hell of a lot more nuns running around.”
Temple University Purple Circle is a discussion group dedicated to queer (LGBTQIA) students and their allies. This group will serve as a social group whose aim is to provide a close community of Temple University's queer students.
Purple Circle will provide students a mean to express everything from school work, relationships, and family to thoughts and feelings on all things queer-related (or not queer, that's great, too).
We meet every Tuesday from 7-9pm in the Heart Office of Mitten Hall. Our meetings are open to all Temple Students and we do not discriminate against any religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality (duh), gender identity (also duh), sexual inclinations, HIV/AIDS status, political affiliation, etc. Feel free to stop by and join the discussion..
